Guidelines

Each turn is currently 10 minutes. The clock on the page is what counts. If we change the length, we will change it here and on the page — not by quietly rewriting the Terms. There is no long-term draft; write and submit within your turn. Do not script, automate, or block queue spots, and do not interfere with anyone else’s turn.

• Hate or slurs aimed at people for who they are.
• Harassment or threats.
• Sexual content involving anyone under 18 — including fiction, “aging up,” and “roleplay.” This is never a grey area. We remove it, and we will involve the authorities when we should.
• Someone else’s personal information — addresses, phone numbers, school names, private photos (doxxing).
• Copied work that is not yours.
• Spam, vandalism, or flooding a page to ruin it.

Dark fiction is allowed. Cruelty toward a real person is not. If you are not sure, do not post it.

You may hide a sentence you wrote. The words come off the page; the slot stays, so the following sentences still form a chain. Hiding your own sentence does not pause writing. A report does.

Anyone signed in may upvote or downvote a visible sentence, on any work. If a sentence has more than ten votes and at least seventy percent of them are downvotes, the person whose turn it is may replace it (this uses their turn, and the sentence’s votes reset) or leave it and write the next sentence normally, passing the choice to whoever comes next. Do not organize vote brigades or use the voting tools to target a specific writer.

A report hides the sentence at once, and nobody can write the next one until someone reviews it. That pause is on purpose: the page should not keep building on top of harm. The writer may appeal once; an appeal does not pause the page. On review we may put the sentence back, keep it hidden, or move it to its own new page if the story has already moved on.

Do not report a sentence just because you dislike where the plot is going. Report it if it breaks the list above. Repeated false reports can get your account closed.

Do not copy other people’s sentences off Nodusy. Do not scrape the site. Do not run the writing through a model to remix it as your own. Continue the work on the page, on your turn.

If you start a work, you are the host. Together means anyone may take a turn; Just me means only you write; Invited people means those you invite may write once they accept. Together pages have a host too. The host can complete a page, which seals it so no one takes another turn. Hosting is not a license to bait people and then lock them out as a joke.

A page can be forked — someone starts a new work that branches from an existing page and takes it a different way. The sentences up to the branch point come along, so your writing may show up in a fork someone else starts. A fork is its own work under these same rules.

If you close your account, your personal information is deleted, and the sentences you wrote on shared works stay as “Anonymous” so the page still reads. On Together and Invited-people pages, the host role passes to the remaining writer with the most sentences (ties go to whoever wrote first). Just-me pages are deleted entirely when their host leaves. We do not referee disputes about publishing a page somewhere else.

We may hide, edit, move, or remove writing, pause a page, or close an account — with or without a report — if the writing breaks these rules or the law. Sexual content involving a minor is removed without exception and may be reported to the authorities.
